The HMD Meme With Actual Constructive Criticism

The HMD Meme With Actual Constructive Criticism

Wikipedia : Constructive criticism is the process of offering valid and well-reasoned opinions about the work of others, usually involving both positive and negative comments, in a friendly manner rather than an oppositional one.

[The Rules]

1. Post as the mun, and write down all your characters you would like to have any constructive criticism about. RP thread samples are optional.

2. Other people write down their crit about your RP-ing and your characters, etc, logged in or anon. Just praising people is fine, too.

3. No flaming or bashing allowed. No wanking, please!

4. Please keep in mind when you write your crit that your opinions may not always be right. Some things simply are a matter of individual taste, for example.

5. Please also remember that people are not obligated to accept all and every crit sent their way as valid. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't.

Raphael-El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron-godheals

Yotsuba Koiwai-Yotsuba!&-sunflowerfairy

I'm always happy to get critique, especially about Tohko and Raphael. There's always room for improvement!

your yotsuba could use a little polish methinks. granted, it's been a while since I read Yotsuba!& but I think she ought to be a little more... whimsical, maybe? have her attention drift away a little more and give her some more carefree energy. (also like I said it's been a while, but did she speak in 3rd person that much?)

one thing I can also recommend is when you're doing action brackets, slap some HTML on the brackets to make them a little more distinct from the dialogue. make it italicized or small or whatever else! it's just a nitpick really

however! despite those, you still play a wonderful little yotsuba and I really enjoy threading with her :) I think you really do know her character even if the polish might be a bit rough, so please keep up the good work!

Ah, thank you! It's always a little difficult playing children, so I'll be sure to take your advice into account. The volumes of manga I've read have her speak in third person a bit..but I've probably been overdoing it. I'll get better at that in the future!

Erm..actually..I'm terrible at HTML, so I have no idea how to make it italicized or smaller. I'll have to look that up soon if it makes reading my posts a bit easier.

However, I'm glad you enjoy playing with my Yotsuba despite my hiccups!~ ^^ I'll do my best! I have no idea who you are, anon, but thank you!~

brief HTML lesson! it's pretty easy really. for italics, surround your text with < i > text here < /i > ...except take out those spaces. like this! for smaller text, do something similar: < small > text here < /small > and you get something like this! I hope that helps :)

Oh, thank you very much! That really does help me out a lot! Again, I have no idea who you are, anon, but thank you so much!
