I'd like to see more memes that enable mingling. I find things like support group meme and the various "you are all at a massive party" memes work well because they're based around settings where strangers would be likely to meet, so tagging characters you're not already familiar with feels less daunting.

A "Complaints meme", basically like the support group meme but instead of people being there for support, they're just there to complain. About Batman, their series getting cancelled, stupid tropes, etc. I know it's very similar but I think you might be able to fudge it enough to allow for different interactions. I was thinking of the "Almost Got 'im" episode of Batman where they're telling stories and complaining.

can we finally all just agree that we don't need the hate meme? i think enough has happened to show that there's no 'public service' being done and we don't need 'a place to vent' like that. i have also yet to see what 'interesting conversations' happen there that can't be had in a place that isn't a pit of vitriol and drama that fosters creating problems rather than trying to solve them.

we "need" it as much as we "need" rpanons, imo. I don't see problems being fixed on either. if you shut down wankgate, I'm pretty sure all the stuff there would make the natural move to rpanons, anyway.

I'd rather not have rpanons turn into wankgate. I don't go to wankgate for a reason. If rpanons just turns into the same kind of shit stirring and insulting, I won't be going there either.

While I have Issues (with a capital I) with how Stephen King writes his characters, particularly women, The Stand is a fantastic novel on a conceptual level, and I would go apeshit with happiness if there was ever a game in the 'verse of that novel.

I was in one about six years ago that lasted about a year. And I remember there was going to be another one a few months ago, but for some reason it never got off the ground. It's one of his best works, I think, and I'd love to see it in an rp again.

For me, it's a place to gather details (backed up with evidence, hopefully) of those oocly bad RPers, games and/or mods. Not just to complain, but to warn and be warned. The Ken debacle is perfect proof of this.

My problem is that sometimes things are harped on that were taken completely out of context. Judging someone on a couple of ooc comments without even trying to find out what they actually /meant/, is hardly fair.

As for the Ken thing, I'm not touching that with ...well anything.
