 This is the IC version of the The Role Call Meme




[The Rules]

1. Find the thread for the canons/fandoms of your character. If you don't see one, make one!

2. Post with all of your character accounts. Yes, all of them. Throwing in your entire musebox is totally fine in this meme. (Please write down the name and canon/fandom of the character in the subject line, and also if they're canon, AU, crossover or OC, etc.)

3. AU characters are totally OK. Crossover/fusion characters may post at all the fandoms/canons their crossover/fusion is derived from. Fandom OCs may post at their fandom/canon's thread. Original Story/Universe OCs will have their own thread.

[Not the delicious strawberries! Misa is terrible, and L sees right through that cute little act.]

I doubt Light-kun would mind, but why doesn't Misa-Misa just eat a full slice of strawberry cake? It's delicious! [In demonstration, slides his fork through his slice of cake, and puts the delicious bite into his mouth. Around the mouthful he goes--] Mmm!

[Misa tries not to make a sound but one that's both excited and mildly distressed leaks out. There's plenty more cake if she gives in, but she was watching that one.]

But I have to hold back! So I can always look my best for Light! [She sounds like she's convincing herself.No, she sounds like she's failing to convince herself.]

Sho gwood. [He speaks around chewing his delicious mouthful of delicious strawberry cake. So delicious! He swallows, and slides his fork through another portion of the dessert, scooping up cake and strawberry and all, beautifully on display on the edge of his fork.]

Misa-Misa looks so cute already, surely some cake wouldn't hurt. Light-kun wants you to enjoy yourself, doesn't he? [L might thoughtlessly let his fork trail a bit closer to Misa as he speaks. Or it might be totally intentional.]

Doesn't he?! [She still doesn't sound convinced, but she sounds like she wants to be convinced, which is really half the battle. Both fists ball up near her chin as if to form a protective caloric barrier to her mouth, even as she nods, vigorously at first but then less so as she becomes focused on that fork.] Mm! A real, happy smile is a girl's best make up!

That's true, I think Light told me so himself. [Lies. But L knows the best way through any of Misa's barriers is to use Light. The strawberry cake is right there, Misa, just take a nibble!] There's more cake, so you can have a bite of this slice if you want.

[Woah, L knew Misa was devoted, but that was cake she just pushed aside. L looks down at her in surprise, but not bothering to back away to reclaim personal space or anything.]

Well yes, it's come up. Are you sure you don't want cake? [Priorities, Misa.]

It's just so unexpected! [The cake question is swept aside as carelessly as the cake itself.] I guess Light's still a boy after all! Boys talk about certain things with other boys!

[She stops and blinks, looking at Ryuuzaki. He's also technically a boy. Imagining him acting like a normal college freshman is even harder than imagining Light talking casually about girls or normal, earthly things.] What did you say in a conversation like that?

[Trying to think of a girl who would look as good on his arm as she does on Light's arm brings up really, really strange images...]

[Well if she's not going to have the cake... L puts the fork in his mouth, taking the bite with a pleased mmm.]

A baker? [He swallows his bite, gaze shifting upwards as he thinks.] Hmm, no, that's not it. We didn't get in depth or anything. Now that I think about it, I suppose I'd prefer someone who's more of an intellectual, to keep my attention... hmm, but I'm not sure about that either.

[His attention is already back on his cake though, and he's carving off another bite with his fork. Sure, L's a technically a college boy now, but priorities.]
