The IC Anon Questions Meme!

The IC Anon Questions Meme!

How this works.

Post with your Character! Name and series go in the header.

Go find another character! Go anon and ask them questions. They can be as ridiculous, serious or random as you want.

Go answer the ones people have left for you!

What do red and black mean to you, personally? ♥

What a question that is, and I shall easily produce an answer. Red is, of course, the color of the wine to which I pledge my soul; black, the dark to which profuse worship of the red may lead. And often does lead, I might knowingly add.

But I jest, I am a fool, and there coil always more answers, if only we should choose to observe with greater scrutiny. Red is the pounding of my head as our resplendent sun edges over the horizon, the crimson searing through my eyelids to replace the peace and break the measureless silence silence of the black.

Red flashes in passions that we christen as rage or as pain or as lust--or do we color it love?--while black is in those sinking sensations (you might cite guilt or sadness, perhaps some dire rejection) that throw shadows on the world.

Red and black are alike the color of folly, of men who believe in singleness of definition, who believe that numbers and actions add up and create something lasting. Red and black are attempts to class the chaos of the world into ideals that can be trumpeted and gifted to the masses, creating insubstantial tools with which to wage a hopeless war. As are all wars. As is all action.

Red and black are illusions, and red and black are deepest loss. To begin, at least, to answer your question.
