The IC Anon Questions Meme!

The IC Anon Questions Meme!

How this works.

Post with your Character! Name and series go in the header.

Go find another character! Go anon and ask them questions. They can be as ridiculous, serious or random as you want.

Go answer the ones people have left for you!

Oh, but my wings are not strong enough for such a feat! No, I'll need your help. A bit of masculine strength, I would say.

By what sort of creature shall I call you? I should hope you will have wings so that we can help each other reach the bells of Notre Dame!

You make a fair point, for fierce-spirited as bees may be, few dare to climb the heights of heaven. You must show your fellow bees the way, teach them to strengthen their wings!

And I? I can hardly say, or even picture myself in flight. Ah, just think on that picture, such an ungainly brute as I! But if we are to consider the matter... You may call me a creature unkempt and unrelenting, vocal on the quietest of days; something drab, but not to be dismissed. Observant? Perhaps. Unmannerly? Without question.

Am I tracing a suitable course?

R, the first thing that came to mind was a pesky mosquito and I know for certain that you are not of the mosquito variety.

A housefly, would you say? I do feel badly for making such a suggestion but I feel that bees and houseflies would be friendly. At the very least, they would be on better terms than our ilk and arachnids.
fitofgrandair: (oh well a bottle is grand)

Ah, 'Chetta, I cannot tell you how well that pleases me! Persistence is the very nature of the fly; what man--try as he may--can halt a fly in its bothersome business? Who can mute its ceaseless droning? And such wisdom to land upon the housefly, for I am not Plato's esteemed gadfly (such a title being far better suited to our Combeferre); my nettling is not for the state, but for my own enjoyment. Then, as well, I daresay this countenance of mine is a match for the fly's grotesquerie.

[Ending their dance, he bows, a motion exaggerated but not without earnest intent.]

Little bee, this fly drones ever at your service.

Then I am happy to please! You know that I mean no offense, after all. And since you seem to be taken with the name, I shall fondly refer to you as such: my dear fly friend.

[ She curtsies politely, bending a leg behind herself with a pointed toe. ] And I thank you for this lovely dance.

As for Combeferre, I think he would much rather be Plato's esteemed moth.
fitofgrandair: (want to bet on that?)

So it has been decided, and so it shall be to and beyond the end of time, the music of your buzz and the clatter of my drone sounding on into eternity.

If we are to hum on together, I shall only demand that we dance more often. It is rare to find a damsel with such an agreeable blend of vivacity and grace, and I am ever restless.

You are right about Combeferre, of course, and I suppose we must allow him to achieve his fondest wish. Why study moths when you may become one? Though... if he is to become am moth, he must have true antennae. Wings, yes, perhaps, but is he not deeply enamored with the, what is it, the exquisite arcing of each antenna?

Oh! [ She gasps, obviously delighted by the very image he evokes. There's even a hop in her step when she speaks next. ]

Oh, oh, is it up to us to help join join his insect brethren? Since we are a team now, it seems like.
fitofgrandair: (oh you guys)

We must be; who else will awaken our fellows to their truest nature? We have stumbled on a deep and heady secret, Musichetta, and it is our duty to illuminate it so that all the world may see. Beginning, of course, with Combeferre, whose nature has perhaps begun to manifest itself in his very obsession with moths. Somewhere in his heart, he knows. We need only offer the antennae and unveil his wings.

Now. I feel it necessary to ask you to craft the wings. I am much more nimble than you are and would find more success in putting them atop his head.

What do you say to this?
fitofgrandair: (let's have a laugh)

[personal profile] fitofgrandair 2013-04-08 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
I say that once again, you have proven yourself the wisest of the bees, and it won't be long before Combeferre has achieved his transformation.

Ah, but it appears that our revels now are ended. Your Joly has returned, and must not allow word of our endeavor to precede the act; only if they see the change will our compatriots be able to believe. For my part, I believe I have supplies to gather.

[He takes her hand, kissing it lightly.] Lady Musichetta, it has been an honor.
