The IC Anon Fanmail Meme

This meme is similar to the Anon Questions Meme, except that the characters get anon fanmail instead of anon questions.

[The Rules]

1. Post as your characters, and write down the name, canon, preferences, etc.

2. Go around and find another character, go anon, and send them IC anon fanmail. The fanmail can be as sincere or insincere as you wish.

3. Tag away, and be excellent to each other! No wank, please.

You have indeed listed some practical points, though I wonder if perhaps Phila might have been capable of using rescue staff to save Emmeryn. In flight, she would have been close enough to do so, and the Pegasus knights could have served as her shield. It is a more brutal tactic as it leaves the pegasi knight's lives on the line to protect her, but it might have worked. Regardless, I understand that rescue staves were in very low supply, as were those capable of wielding them at such great distances.

As to my second question, you've answered that implicitly, and I suspect Chrom's guard was likely down even further given that you are his wife.

While you are likely correct in that you needed to repair the home front before you could worry about foreign affairs, I still have to say it was sloppy at best. Agents should have been put in place to make sure that another king like Gangrel wouldn't come to power. Perhaps having Plegia becoming a part of Ylisse and Regna Ferox was a bit overly ambitious, but keeping designated officials to watch over the kingdom you just conquered is warfare 101.

You are a brilliant tactician Robin, possibly one of the most brilliant, but I fear you are not always the greatest of strategists.
