The IC Anon Unwritten Letters / Secret Messages Meme

The IC Anon Unwritten Letters / Secret Messages Meme

This meme is similar to the Anon Questions Meme, except that the characters get anon unwritten letters and anon secret messages instead of anon questions.

The anon secret messages are just what it says on the tin. Unwritten letters on the other hand are letters and messages people write to other people, alive or deceased, just to get things off their chest, without ever meaning to actually send them.  However, the anon unwritten letters in this meme somehow manage to end up being sent to the character theyre're directed at, despite the fact that they were never meant to be sent in the first place.

[The Rules]

1. Post as your characters, and write down the name, canon, preferences, etc.

2. Go around and find another character, go anon, and send them IC anon unwritten letters or IC anon secret messages. The letters and messages can be serious or cracky, funny or heartbreaking - It's all up to you.

3. Tag away, and be excellent to each other! No wank, please.

Are you certain? Perhaps I have merely been taking artistic liberties. I have certainly done so with some of my early sketches of you. I admit to letting my imagination run away with me.

Artistic... liberties. [It's more a statement than a question, because he isn't sure at this point if he wants to know.]

I did need the practice in drawing nudes, so it worked out well.

I hope that you are aware how serious it would be should pictures of that sort be revealed publicly.

I am quite aware. It would be embarrassing for the both of us. Have no fear - my sketches are purely for my own pleasure. I would be quite surprised if anyone even knew of my hobby.

I certainly cannot recall anyone I am acquainted with aboard the Enterprise having such a hobby.

Then, you know I am capable of discretion. Is there a PADD to your left?

(Anonymous) 2013-06-13 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
If you look beneath it, you will find a small gift.

[Beneath the PADD is a hand-folded envelop made of heavy parchment. The back is sealed with blue sealing wax impressed with a laurel crest. Written upon the front in painstakingly copied Vulcan calligraphy are the words 'Dungi tu sahrafel?' ((Which, of course, translate into 'Will you trust me?'))]
notahobgoblin: (surprised)

I hope this is the assumption I'm suppose to make! :P

[His eyes widen as they skim the words, curiosity sufficiently piqued.]

How is it that you can write the Vulcan language? You are not..?

[But no, his admirer can't be Vulcan; the calligraphy was clearly copied - carefully - not written in a natural hand.]

Isn't it fun? ;)

No, I am not. I merely wanted to illustrate the depth of my interest. Have you looked inside?
notahobgoblin: (troubled)

It really is!

[After marveling at the calligraphy for a few moments longer, a part of his brain still attempting to discover any hidden clues in the angle of the brush stroke or the curvature of the symbols, Spock slides a finger beneath the flap of the envelope, neatly breaking the seal so that he can remove the contents.]

I will do so now.

[Inside is a perfectly cut rectangle of thick drawing paper covered with a penciled portrait.* It is, of course, unsigned. Written beneath the portrait in normal language are the words, 'Look at the beauty of your frown.' There is no further communication from the anonymous admirer as if he or she awaits a response to the gift.]
