The IC Anon Unwritten Letters / Secret Messages Meme

The IC Anon Unwritten Letters / Secret Messages Meme

This meme is similar to the Anon Questions Meme, except that the characters get anon unwritten letters and anon secret messages instead of anon questions.

The anon secret messages are just what it says on the tin. Unwritten letters on the other hand are letters and messages people write to other people, alive or deceased, just to get things off their chest, without ever meaning to actually send them.  However, the anon unwritten letters in this meme somehow manage to end up being sent to the character theyre're directed at, despite the fact that they were never meant to be sent in the first place.

[The Rules]

1. Post as your characters, and write down the name, canon, preferences, etc.

2. Go around and find another character, go anon, and send them IC anon unwritten letters or IC anon secret messages. The letters and messages can be serious or cracky, funny or heartbreaking - It's all up to you.

3. Tag away, and be excellent to each other! No wank, please.

Graintaire, put that bottle down.
fitofgrandair: (oh well a bottle is grand)

i am not a loaf of bread.

Now that just isn't any fun, tsk.

What should I carry otherwise? A scepter? A trident? I fear the first would be ill-received by my brothers in imagined arms, and the second would prove a dire hazard. No, o unfaced speaker, a bottle is safer, by far!

More useful to carry would be a desire to fulfil the works which Les Amis strive towards.
fitofgrandair: (now to ponder)

some men are born to be marble. and then you could stay golden forever, pony boy!

There is a vast distance between the desire to fulfill and belief in the possibility of fulfillment, or an understanding of what it is that could ever be fulfilled. What is the space between ideal and expression, between espoused values and what we intend, then what it is that we achieve? To see is to lose hold of felicity in such striving. And I assure you that my desire is not so simple, nor does my undesire fit your implications.

Besides, these ideas and desires are rather in the abstract; I must have hold of something that will keep me anchored, less I drift utterly away!

gold and marble are worthless to the man who starves in the gutter

Then take hold of your pen or brush and capture what you can of that ideal.

It is not so elusive as you claim, and it will be realised all the faster when more hands and mouths join in the work of spreading it.
