So I guess the burning question is: What is it that drew you to Bulma?

[He laughs, isn't that something he's contemplated himself for years now.]

Sometimes I'm not entirely sure myself. As much as I couldn't of cared less back then she did nurse me back to health and displayed an undeniable care for me no matter how many times I berated her. And she never once acted as if she were frightened of me. How could anyone, let alone a powerless woman, stand up to the Prince of Saiyans? The very man who could and almost did wipe her tiny pathetic planet off this very existence without so much as breaking a sweat, the one partially responsible for the death of everyone she loved? But yet, she never turned away from me.

She grew up around Goku, maybe she learned the bad habit of not being afraid of saiyans that way. It kind of helps that she gave birth to your son, doesn't it? You weren't ever worried that she'd go back to Yamcha, or anything like that?

Leave it to Kakarot to desensitize those to the frightening power of his own race. It's no wonder the earthlings didn't run in terror from us when we first arrived. [He scoffs, but whatever. The past was the past and he's not dwelling on it.]

When I returned home from the battlefield after Gohan defeated Cell, I swore that I would never turn my back on my son again. In turn living there with Bulma began to wear on me. So yes, it did help the process being she is the mother of my son because of the time I ended up spending with her and Trunks. I might of cared for her previously, but my pride would never allow me to see that clearly until much later.

Yamcha? That loser? Absolutely not, don't make me laugh. Bulma may of been quite filthy in her younger years but he's not someone I'd ever feel threatened by. Besides, I don't think she'd want to pass up on this. [Of course, a confident and haughty reference to himself.]

He did take a pretty solid hit to the head as a kid, you never know, it probably knocked a lot of brain cells loose.

Well, I'm not saying he's a complete catch, but if she'd gone back to him before.... What's your favorite quality of Bulma's, anyway?

First of all I don't have the time to waste with the ridiculous concept of friendship. I don't know where you got that idea but you can forget it. Secondly, I don't know, why don't you tell me.

That's simply what Saiyan hair does! Granted, not all Saiyans have hair such as mine but for those of us who do posses hair like this it just has always been this way! I'm not a darned scientist, how should I know exactly why? [HE JUST...DOES NOT HAVE TIME TO DEAL WITH THIS AL;SJKF;ASLKFJA;SLDFKJ]

So which of your children is your favorite? I'm dying to know.

Neither. I care for them both equally, though I may show it differently to each. Just because I take my daughter to that awful mall she's so fond of doesn't mean I don't hold Trunks in high regard. He is my son and if our race had survived he would have made a fine Saiyan warrior, not that he hasn't already. I'm very proud of him.

But what about your other son from the alternate future? What do you think of him deep down inside?

If anything at all he is the reason that I chose to return home to take care of my infant son after the Cell games. Becoming a super saiyan at such an age, possessing the power that he did- I couldn't be more proud of him either. I do not fear for him in the future, I'm more than confident he is strong enough to take care of any danger that comes to him and the planet. In fact I wish I could be there for when he rips Cell apart piece by piece.

I see, I see. By the way, if you're so proud of your Trunks, then why are you so hard on him? He does work hard and did go into space for a year to save the people of Earth, which included you. You could or should give him more credit than you do.
