Call it a follow up to our last conversation. How much do you know about the new BOWs showing up in the middle east?

Nothing's come down the line about that yet.

They seem to be the result of a more advanced strain of the C-Virus. At present they're spread through the small villages instead of a single centralized location though.

I haven't been able to confirm it yet, but I think the virus is being deliberately spread through those villages.

I don't suppose you know exactly how it wound up there? Or is it the same story as always?

Oh, no. This time I have something a bit more substantial for you. I know how it got there.

And I don't have hard confirmation yet, but I've got strong evidence as to who brought it there too.

[Piers shifts a little, uncomfortable with the potential idea of sabotage not within the restrictions of the BSAA.]

[A moment's silence, as if the voice on the other end is considering what he just asked.]

The guy's got no record, so there's little use in going after him through legal channels. And he...

[Now the voice Piers have come to know as that of Oversight actually hesitates.]

He has experience in a lot of the same ways that I do.

As a BSAA agent, I imagine you're very familiar with the Raccoon City incident. Were you ever told anything about the fourth survivor?

[One gets the feeling, even through a voice-scrambled feed, that Oversight doesn't sound surprised.]

In the last twenty-four hours of the Raccoon incident the Umbrella Corporation sent in a private task force to retrieve a sample of the G-virus. Most of those agents were killed by the infected or incinerated along with the rest of Raccoon City, but a single agent survived.

It's that agent, the fourth survivor of Raccoon City, who I believe is the one responsible for spreading this new strain of the C-virus.
