 This is the IC version of the The Role Call Meme



[The Rules]

1. Find the thread for the canons/fandoms of your character. If you don't see one, make one!

2. Post with all of your character accounts. Yes, all of them. Throwing in your entire musebox is totally fine in this meme. (Please write down the name and canon/fandom of the character in the subject line, and also if they're canon, AU, crossover or OC, etc.)

3. AU characters are totally OK. Crossover/fusion characters may post at all the fandoms/canons their crossover/fusion is derived from. Fandom OCs may post at their fandom/canon's thread. Original Story/Universe OCs will have their own thread.

4. Tag around all over the place - Canonmates, non-canonmates, everything is OK!

If you eat it so much, you'll only end up fat. [He looks at L, barely pausing.] That's what I would normally say, but you seem to be strangely immune to it. If I didn't know better, I would say you're secretly more active than you let on.

I don't know what Light-kun means. My mental activity burns off all these calories. Now don't ignore the strawberry, it's for you. [Makes a little circle motion in the air with the fork to make the strawberry more enticing, and nudges it forward for Light to eat. Come on, Light, don't be stubborn! Enjoy yourself!]

I'll pass. [L, Light hides it but he's kind of a snob, okay?] My body follows the rules of anatomy and requires physical activity. [Not that he had a problem with strawberries, really.]

Even for strawberries? [He's disappointed in you, Light. Missing out on all the joy in life. The fork hovers there for a moment longer just to be sure...]

I've eaten some before you got here. They really are good. [Did he? Didn't he? Who knows?]

At any rate, it's good to see you enjoying yourself. If I knew treats would lift your mood so much, I would have started keeping a candy jar.

[Maybe it's just that he always has treats so they didn't seem like anything special.]

Really? [Eyes widen as his gaze focuses in on Light's mouth, as though looking for any remaining evidence that strawberries were there at some recent time. He's not convinced, Light! But he pulls the fork away and pops the strawberry into his own mouth anyway.]

I don't go out much, so I try to enjoy it when I do. [He's risking his life being out, so there's that too. He smiles at a thought.] A candy jar would make outings more pleasant when there isn't a buffet table.

[Mostly amused at the thought of Light carrying around a candy jar for him that will go unused 95% of the time.]

[Even if he had had strawberry, he wouldn't have left any traces. Besides, he would have expected L to pull it away and take it at the last moment; L loved his strawberries.]

It would be stale by the time you did go out. You were willing to come to classes, but even that got dropped quickly. Did you lose interest in them?

[L can share! There's an endless buffet table, and he's already thinking about getting that cake.]

Now that you come to headquarters, the classes are no longer necessary. [He enrolled just for you, Light.] Although the lack of interest is a factor as well. Have they gotten more interesting since my last attendance?

They haven't taught us about Kira so I don't think they would keep your attention. But it's a shame, classes were more interesting with someone like you there.

[Yep, that's him. To be fair, he hasn't dropped his classes yet either, so there's still hope.]

Is Light-kun getting bored with his classes and seeking to make them more interesting with my presence? I suppose I could attend a few and see if they've improved, and perhaps we could have another tennis match?

[That just means his grades are suffering and somehow, that's worse.]

I hoped we could. I haven't played regularly since middle school, but it would be nice to have a strong opponent. I enjoyed our last match.
